Sheriff PAL Bike Giveaway 2020

This event was a great way for Sheriff PAL to give back to the community and help people find ways to get out and get active during a time were COVID-19 has affected all of our daily lives. This event was set up to follow COVID-19 social distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC and was a huge hit for families in the Oakland County area. Over 175 bikes were given away to children of all ages as well as adults who were also in need of bikes. Helmets, bike locks, helmet fitting guides, and rules for the road were also given to each family that received a bike to help ensure safety and security of riders and their bikes.

We would like to thank everyone who donated bikes or bike parts for this event, everyone who came out to volunteer, and everyone who came out to get a bike from us. We hope to set this event up again next year. In the meantime, look out for more PAL sponsored events!
